Training with Tails Wag
At Tails Wag Dog Training, we study canine behavior and body language. This enables us to read each dog and understand their issues. It also gives us an understanding of how to train owners to solve the problems with their dog quickly and forever. We use motivational, positive training techniques and promise to train all dogs humanely and respectfully. We strive for the highest success level with each dog and owner, and appreciate your suggestions and theories regarding your dog. Our goals
are to educate owners, promote responsible dog ownership, and save the lives of dogs through training. |

Board Training
Board Training is done in
home for a period of time no shorter than 7 days.
Your dog stays with us to train, play, exercise, and
come home well mannered. The length of the board
training session we recommend depends on each dog and
the issues involved. Training occurs in several short
sessions throughout each day.
Some dogs bond quickly with the trainer, while others have a hard time being
away from home. We do the best we can to make your dog feel as comfortable as
possible but will not guarantee your dog will come home acting like Rin Tin Tin.
We want you to know how to handle your newly trained dog, so we follow up with
private lessons and written handouts specific to your dog. Follow up training
with the owner is necessary to ensure continued success. A mandatory one hour
consultation is required prior to boarding for a fee of $85.
