Training with Tails Wag
At Tails Wag Dog Training, we study canine behavior and body language. This enables us to read each dog and understand their issues. It also gives us an understanding of how to train owners to solve the problems with their dog quickly and forever. We use motivational, positive training techniques and promise to train all dogs humanely and respectfully. We strive for the highest success level with each dog and owner, and appreciate your suggestions and theories regarding your dog. Our goals
are to educate owners, promote responsible dog ownership, and save the lives of dogs through training. |

Housebreaking
Housebreaking
a new puppy or dog can be frustrating, but if done
right, you can minimize accidents and optimize success
in four weeks or less. It is simple to teach your puppy
how to keep his new home clean, but requires patience,
consistency, and dedication on your part to establish
good habits. From our experience, a puppy coming to a
new home for the first time usually starts off on the
right foot since the first disciplinarian the puppy
meets is his biologial mother. The puppy's mother
teaches the puppy first that keeping his space clean is
necessary. As the puppy moves to a new home with a
non-canine speaking parent, the puppy quickly forgets
what its mother has taught. We break the canine-human
language barrier and teach you to housebreak your new
puppy quickly, positively, and set him or her up for
permanent success.
